Sankat Mochan Mandir

The temple is open to guests for Darshan daily, with semi-regular hours. Every day the temple opens at 4:30 AM and remains open until noon. It then re-opens at 3 PM. On Tuesday and Saturday, the temple stays open until midnight. It closes at 10:30 PM on all other days. Sankat Mochan Mandir also opens for Aarti every day:

Visiting the temple

When visiting the temple, you can park at our paid parking lot. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. The temple has other amenities, including wheelchairs for those in need and a lost-and-found.

Upon entry, you must pass through a security checkpoint involving a metal detector and frisking by a security guard. Depending on the circumstances, your car will also be searched.

Sankat Mochan Mandir is an ancient temple and abode of deity Lord Hanuman Ji. The temple was established by Great Saint Poet Goswami Tulsidas Ji in the beginning of 16th century.

The area surrounding the sanctum sanatorium is surrounded by green forest originally preserved since the establishment of temple.
